Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust), Patanjali Yogapeeth is an institution for scientific research and treatment in Yoga, Spiritualism and Ayurveda, with the world’s largest OPD with a capacity of over six to ten thousand patients per day. Over 20 lakhs patients are expected to be treated every year. An I.P.D. with over five hundred beds also the part of Patanjali Yogapeeth. Patanjali Herbal Garden & Agro Research Department
Under the learned guidance of H. H. Yogarishi Swami Ramdevji, Vaidyaraj Acharya Balkrishna and Swami Muktanand, there is an established Patanjali Herbal Garden situated nearby Patanjali Yogapeeth at Mahrshi Dayanand Gram, Bahadrabad, Delhi- Haridwar highway. The Garden has beautiful collections of more than 200 medicinal herbs, shrubs, trees, climbers and ornamental plants. Since, 1997 it was a great effort with high spirit to collect the valuable medicinal plant and to ensure for grow in Garden; a Divya Vanaushadhi Vatika has been earlier established in the Ashram at Kankhal. Thereafter, to explore more possibilities of a large number of wide collections, exposition and research of medicinal, aromatic and ornamental plants in a organized way in the Patanjali Herbal Garden has been established. A team of Scientists from Botany and Agriculture and a number of swayam sevak are engaged for research and management.

Near Patanjali Yogapeeth, Hardwar, there is a cow pen housing several high pedigreed Indian cows The mission for the preservation, improvisation and manufacture of Ayuvedic Products requires cow milk, cow urine, dung, and the mission to preserve the Indian breed of cattle for the service of cow and protect its breed, is going since long time in the ashram. Now in Patanjali Yogapeeth, this is being given a broader look, in which thousands of cows will be taken care of. The dung obtained from this will be used as compost manure or bio-technical manure so that the food grains, fruits, vegetables; milk can be available which would be free of chemical fertilizers. Biogas will be manufactured from dung with which the daily needs of ashram will be fulfilled. The domestic breed of these cattle will be used to increase the cattle breed so that the cows can be respected and protected.

With a view to amalgamate the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with modern scientific practices of manufacturing, this pharmacy has been set-up. It is one of its kinds in Uttarakhand. The aim is to produce in high volumes quality-tested, hygienic Ayurvedic formulations at reasonable prices. The award of ISO-9001 and WHO, GMP certification is the corroboration of the modern empirical research, evaluation, constant upgradation and cutting edge technology that are used here.

The Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust) & Patanjali Yogapeeth (Trust) holds Yoga Science camps under the guidance of Swami Ramdevji Maharaj. Over 15 million people have benefited so far from Yoga Science camps conducted in India & abroad. Swamiji Maharaj teaches a set of seven pranayama in a special sequence for scientific research and evaluation of beneficial effects of yoga and pranayama in participants. Boarding & lodging is completely organized by the Trust and even a dietary regime is practiced for participants during their stay. Non Residential camps are organized with morning & evening sessions from winter through the summer season. More than 20 million people are regular viewers and are deriving benefits from the age old science of Yoga through programmes telecast everyday.
H.H.Swami Ramdevji ’s dream is “Entirely healthy India & healthy world.” Ours is a vast country. A large part of its population lives in villages, where it is dearth of electricity. Dish facility is not available there. In addition, some places in urban areas like prisons, schools, colleges, religious places, administrative establishments & business houses etc. don’t adopt Yoga & Pranayama in their daily routine.
